  Jessica Phelps

My work addresses the constant competition for space between human and environment. A depiction of a congested space achieved through a series of mark making. The use of traditional as well as non traditional techniques and materials keeps me engaged. Once during a critique I was accused of being a scientist rather than an artist. I never considered this an insult. I am constantly experimenting its what keeps me engaged. Strong Interest in Preservation through the use of repurposed materials.
